Sorry i know this topic is really old but i can't create a new topic cause i have a problem with this page...

I want to buy a pda but i'm not sure about the requirements, i am a bit confused about operating system... windows mobile... but i read that it depends which... mobile phones windows and so... and lately pdas are telephones too, so i am a bit worried...

i found a couple of nice pdas and i wonder if stackz can be used on them...

Thanks in advance. If you know about any other cheap pocket pcs, please tell me, i just want it to use pocket stackz. I wonder why pdas don't become cheaper... you can't find old models on sale, i wonder what they do with  the ones they don't sell...

I have this problem too...

As i cant open a new topic i will use this one to tell you about another bug i found...

In search window (edit mode) sometimes i can't write properly the hiragana characters, for example writing  ukeireru it writes ukeieru, sometimes ukeireu, sometimes is written correctly... (please think about my suggestion addind a language option for the search box instead that furigana/romaji option)

Also i found that if in edit mode you create two new white cells (insert entry) , and you remove the last one, remaining one white cell in your list, it closes the program (losing all the work you did from last save)

I can't open a new topic yet, so i will continue writing my requests here...

I have a problem with search option in edit mode, it's about the language attribute.I am using japanese and english, so when i create a new entry, i choose japanese language to look if the word i'm looking is into the list, if it isn't i add the entry and write the translation in spanish, then if i want to look for another word the language in the search box has changed into spanish, so i have to change it again to write in kanji...

Could it be possible to add an option to choose the language to be used in the search box too? so it remains always fixed? i mean in file options.

Also i would like to be able to change the colour of the selection line when searching, i find that navy blue really dark and i have to click in order to read the content of the line(it turns grey).

Well. anyway, my request maybe is difficult or impossible to make... well, i?ll explain...

when you are search a kanji in the edit option, it moves between all the entries that contains that kanji, it doesn't matter the order.

Could it be possible to directly find and arrange them? so if you have 20 entries with that kanji in first or second position in a list of 1000 words, could it be possible an option that search and put those 20 entries in the beginning of the list so you can review, cut or whatever you want to do quickly?

Windows recovery, not sure about the name, the saved state that window has, in case you got a virus or something you can go back a few days before in order to get your old system before it was affected...

Not sure if i expressed it properly... my english is a bit rusted...

It would be interesting to have an option to search the entries that are not actually included in a list (compairing it with a second list).

For example: i have my 12000 word list i have been working on for a long time, but i found a nice list that includes  new words not included in my list, it would be nice to be able to compare them and just take the new ones...

In a word, the opposite of find duplicates.

I think that a section called "Help required" would be useful, as we don't know where to post if we have any question...

Perhaps it is a bit early as it is not an official version yet (stackz 2007), but a tutorial on the dictionary installation and use would be really useful.

I tried to copy profuis270u.dll from standard to dict edition and no effect

I tried to copy stackz.exe from standard to dict edition and started standard edition...

I dont know what else to try...

I wonder if this error appear in beta 3, 2 or 1 , where can i get them?

I uninstalled everything, restarted, cleaned the registry... installed again, changed the license key, same error...

2007 standard edition working, dictionary edition is not working yet

It would be useful to try to install the dictionary alone, is there any file? i think that my problem is in the dictionary itself. It worked for 3 hours or so( before this error started), i did not manage to make the example creation work... i downloaded all.euc from the tanaka corpus page (maybe this is wrong), anyway it did not work, only the kanjidic and the dictionary worked.

I remember working with a stackz 2006 and a 2007 at the same time transferring files from different lists... i think that is all  the information i can give you...

Thanks for replying, today i studied 200 words, but i'm kinda stuffed, i think i will get a bad degree in tomorrows test... i think i will try 50, i have lottts of words to learn... this is crazy
